How to Register

Registration is free. You do not need an ID or proof of residency. Registration is done online through a registration form.

Registration for the next quarter will open on September 15. Classes will start on October 6.

Class Levels

We have classes for every learner:

  • Beginner – For students with little or no English. Focus on everyday words, simple sentences, and listening.
  • Intermediate – For students who can speak and understand basic English. Practice reading, writing, and conversation.
  • Advanced – For students who speak English well but want to improve grammar, vocabulary, and professional skills.
When you register, we’ll help you find the right class level.

Class Format

We offer ESL (English as a Second Language) classes year-round, divided into four 12-week quarters. You can attend online, in-person, or both. Morning, evening, and weekend options are available.

If you are a new student, yes. You will take an English exam over Zoom.

No, you just need to be over 18 years old and live in Burt, Cass, Dodge, County,
Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders or Washington in Nebraska or Harrison County, Mills,
or Pottawattamie if you live in Iowa.

English classes meet twice a week for three hours total.
